• David Beckham used a recent public appearance to present King Charles III with a homemade gift.
  • Beckham offered Charles a jar of his boutique honey brand, DBee'z Sticky Stuff.
  • Beckham took up beekeeping as a hobby during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.

David Beckham likes bees. Did you know that? He apparently discovered a passion for bees during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, and started bee-keeping not long after that. He's even launched his own brand of honey called DBee'z Sticky Stuff, whose name suggests to us a sort of real-world hybrid of Ray Liotta's Honey from Bee Movie and Butters' Creamy Goo from South Park, but hey, he's the branding genius, not us.

So, David Beckham loves bees. But you know what else he apparently loves? The royal family. Beckham recently declared himself a "huge royalist" when he made an appearance at the Fashion Design Award Ceremony which was put on by the British Fashion Council, for which Beckham is the Ambassadorial President.

"I’m really excited. I’ve always been a huge royalist," Beckham can be seen saying in a clip for The Royal Family Channel. "My grandparents were huge royalists and I was brought up to love the royal family."

Beckham actually got the chance to show that appreciation for the country's new monarch, King Charles III, and in a way that celebrated a love of bees that both Charles and Beckham reportedly share.

"Beckham was captured at the British Fashion Council Foundation Impact Day 2023 on Thursday greeting the King before holding out a jar of his DBee'z Sticky Stuff honey to the monarch," Sky News reports. "Charles is a huge fan of bees and is known to have many beehives at his Highgrove House country home."

Interestingly enough, movie star Woody Harrelson can also be seen meeting King Charles III in that Royal Family Channel video. And like David Beckham, Woody Harrelson also has a new business venture he recently launched, that like Beckham's, can also be sold by weight in jars.

So what we're getting at here is, if David Beckham gave King Charles some "Sticky Stuff," did Woody Harrelson also hook the monarch up with some sticky icky?
